Job Requirements
- Must be over 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Willingness to learn e-commerce processes
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Maintain valid TABC Beverage Seller's Permit
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to push or pull 50-100 pounds regularly
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety regulations
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
- No use of personal cell phones while on sales floor
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and moving merchandise
- Must be responsible and trustworthy
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Must be over 21 years of age as required by state law
- Preferably have e-commerce experience but willing to train
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Effective communication skills with coworkers and guests
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Mathematical ability to perform basic operations and calculate discounts
- Friendly, smiley, and helpful demeanor
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to providing extraordinary service
- Patience and outgoing personality
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Ability to work any shift on Friday or Saturday
- Available for at least 80% of scheduled shifts

- Food Handler's Permit may be required in some cases
Job Duties
- Know and actively demonstrate daily company mission statement and core values
- Maintain uniform standards for all worked hours
- Greet guests with a smiling face and helpful demeanor
- Print, fulfill, and finalize online and e-commerce orders following appropriate procedures
- Operate computer, phone, and electronic scanner to verify product availability and complete orders
- Ensure proper product pricing by verifying barcodes
- Monitor merchandise handed to guests and delivery drivers for accuracy
- Check identification as necessary to ensure legal sales
- Send verification emails for suspicious orders
- Issue receipts and invoices
- Finalize or monitor all orders for the day and send notifications for outstanding orders
- Bag, box, and protect merchandise using business-minded approaches
- Keep work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies
- Properly use and maintain computers, copiers, and scanner equipment
- Assist with carry-outs and load orders into vehicles
- Restock shelves, beer cooler, wine cooler, coke box, freezer, and deli case
- Remove cases and boxes from sales floor
- Break down boxes not for store use
- Organize and maintain boxes for re-packing
- Clean up broken items
- Sweep and mop floors and put up wet floor signs
- Keep parking lot clean and gather shopping carts
- Operate cash register when required
- Suggestively sell add-on items
- Carry-out or dolly-out merchandise upon guest request
- Answer guest questions and provide information
- Resolve guest complaints with courtesy
- Avoid coworker conversations when guests are present
- Avoid personal cell phone use on sales floor
- Prepare areas for inventory and assist in inventory process
- Follow management directives efficiently
- Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail
- Practice teamwork and cooperation
- Demonstrate time management skills and prioritize tasks
- Manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Stand, lift, carry, walk, bend, and use hands and fingers frequently
- Communicate with team members and guests
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations
- Perform other projects assigned by management
- Clean restrooms as needed
