Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • ability to stand sit lift push walk bend and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • assisting in preparation display and merchandising of bistro foods for sale
  • planning developing and presenting menus creatively
  • answering phones and taking special orders
  • maintaining positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members
  • engaging with customers through greetings product information selling suggestions and sampling
  • facilitating catered events from start to successful conclusion
  • working with catering director and executive chef on menu planning and production
  • demonstrating excellent communication and sales skills with clients and vendors
  • ensuring compliance with health department policies and laws
  • controlling food cost shrink by monitoring production and implementing reworks
