Job Requirements
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Minimum of three years driving experience
- At least two years customer service experience
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Understand and adhere to safety rules and regulations
- Possess a good driving record with no more than two points in the past three years
- Pass background check, drug screen, and DOT-required physical
- Obtain temporary CDL permit during training if CDL not already held

Job Duties
- Function as a customer service ambassador by providing safe, efficient, and quality transportation service
- Transport customers by operating the bus during scheduled and special routes while observing time schedules and traffic laws
- Provide exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills by initiating interactions and responding to inquiries
- Provide information on local points of interest such as museums and downtown restaurants including hours of operation
- Maintain knowledge of fare collection, routes, stops, and hours of operation
- Announce stops using PA system to ensure customer awareness
- Administer RTA policies in special circumstances such as service interruptions or emergencies
