Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
- Capability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Ability to maintain sanitation standards
- Willingness to assist in inventory management and production goals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food service desirable
- Familiarity with bakery equipment operation
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory and order management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Ensure product availability, quality, outstanding service and sanitary conditions
- Maintain adequate presentation and variety of bakery products
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and shrink control with Bakery Manager
- Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- Serve as the person in charge when the manager and first clerk are absent
- Make all customer special orders including cakes
- Adhere to all company policies and sanitation regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
