YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region

YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. With a mission rooted in Christian principles, the YMCA focuses on three key areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Youth Development

The YMCA offers a variety of programs aimed at nurturing the potential of every child and teen. These include before and after-school care, day camps, and youth sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

Additionally, the organization provides swim lessons, dance classes, and enrichment programs to support the holistic development of young individuals.

Healthy Living

Promoting overall well-being, the YMCA provides fitness facilities equipped with pools, racquetball courts, and a range of exercise classes. Members have access to over 400 group exercise classes, including options like Les Mills, TRX, and triathlon training.

Personal training services are available, and the organization offers specialty programs such as SilverSneakers for seniors and evidence-based health interventions like LIVESTRONG at the Y and Parkinson's Exercise Program.

Social Responsibility

The YMCA is committed to social responsibility by providing support to neighbors in need. Through its Annual Support Campaign, the organization ensures that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay.

The YMCA also engages in military outreach, offering programs and support for military families. Community events, such as the Annual Celebration and various 5K races, foster a sense of unity and support within the region.
