About Worcester Art Museum
The Worcester Art Museum, located at 55 Salisbury Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a distinguished institution dedicated to connecting people, communities, and cultures through the experience of art.
Established in 1898, the museum houses a diverse collection of nearly 38,000 works spanning 51 centuries, representing cultures from around the world.
Collections and Exhibitions
The museum's extensive collection includes Roman mosaics, European and American paintings, and a renowned assemblage of Japanese prints documenting the entire history of printmaking in Japan.
Notably, it holds the second-largest collection of arms and armor in the Americas, following the acquisition of the Higgins Armory Museum's collection in 2013.
Current exhibitions feature works by artists such as Hilary Doyle, Rachel Gloria Adams, Ryan Adams, and Crystalle Lacouture.
The museum is preparing for the opening of its Arms and Armor Galleries on November 22, 2025.

Visiting Information
