About Wood Stack Pizza Kitchen
Wood Stack Pizza Kitchen is a family-owned restaurant offering an authentic Italian dining experience in a relaxed, communal setting. Founded by brothers Charlie and Giuseppe Badalamenti in 2015, the restaurant originally opened locations in Pine Brook and Metuchen, New Jersey.
At the heart of Wood Stack's culinary offerings are Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas, crafted using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients. It features two Stefano Ferraro ovens imported from Naples, Italy, which fire pizzas at 900 degrees. This produces artisanal, slightly charred pizzas in under two minutes.
Menu Highlights
The menu boasts a variety of pizzas including classics like Margherita and Grandma pizzas, as well as unique creations such as the Tartufo, topped with roasted mushrooms, fior di latte mozzarella, fontina, and truffle oil. Gluten-free versions of popular pizzas are also available.
In addition to pizzas, Wood Stack features house-made fresh pastas like Rigatoni Norma, Strozzapreti, and Pappardelle Bolognese. Appetizers, salads, and desserts are made daily in-house using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
