Indianapolis Marriott Downtown

In 2016, White Lodging reacquired the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, a 19-story hotel located at 350 West Maryland Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. The hotel features 650 guest rooms and over 40,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including 33 meeting rooms and two ballrooms.

The property offers dining options such as Circle City Bar and Grille, Champions Sports Bar & Grill, and Starbucks. Amenities include Wi-Fi access, a full-service business center, and easy access via skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center.

The hotel is connected to four other White Lodging-managed properties downtown: the JW Marriott, Courtyard, SpringHill Suites, and Fairfield Inn Indianapolis Downtown. Together, these properties offer nearly 2,500 rooms and more than 140,000 square feet of meeting space.

Renovations and Features

In 2017, White Lodging completed a comprehensive renovation of the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. The renovation modernized all guest rooms, suites, meeting spaces, lobby, and food and beverage outlets, and added 10 guest rooms.

Two new restaurants with open-air seating and a re-concepted lobby bar were introduced. The new guestroom design, named Marriott Modern, embraced contemporary yet warm spaces with an emphasis on lighting, technology, and reinvented bathrooms.

Commitment to Sustainability

White Lodging's commitment to sustainability is clear with the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown's certification as a Certified Green Hotel by the environmental non-profit Green Seal.

This makes it the first hotel in Indianapolis and one of five Marriott hotels to earn this certification, highlighting the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.
