Washington Regional Medical Center, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a comprehensive, not-for-profit healthcare system dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of the Northwest Arkansas community.
As the region's only community-owned and locally governed health system, Washington Regional employs over 3,300 individuals and operates a 425-bed medical center.
The center is complemented by more than 50 primary care, specialty care, and urgent care clinics, as well as five Centers of Excellence:
- Washington Regional J.B. Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute: Provides advanced care for neurological conditions.
- Washington Regional Walker Heart Institute: Offers comprehensive cardiovascular services.

In recognition of its exceptional care, Washington Regional Medical Center was named the #1 hospital in Arkansas for 2021-22 by U.S. News & World Report.
The hospital was rated as high performing in seven areas: stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, and knee replacement.
Additionally, it is the area's only Level 2 trauma center and the first hospital in Northwest Arkansas to earn certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.
Washington Regional is also the first hospital in Arkansas to be named an Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence by the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
