Comprehensive Healthcare Services

Virtua Health operates a robust network that includes five hospitals, two satellite emergency departments, over 40 ambulatory surgery centers, and more than 400 other locations.

This extensive infrastructure enables Virtua to provide a full spectrum of care, from tertiary services like renowned cardiology and transplant programs to community-based initiatives such as Hospital at Home, physical therapy, rehabilitation, mobile screenings, and paramedic services.

The health system boasts a team of approximately 3,000 employed and affiliated doctors and clinicians, covering specialties such as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health, orthopedics, advanced surgery, and maternity care.

Academic Partnerships and Research

In 2022, Virtua Health and Rowan University established a groundbreaking academic affiliation, creating the Virtua Health College of Medicine & Life Sciences of Rowan University.
