UTMB Health

UTMB Health, officially known as the University of Texas Medical Branch, is a comprehensive health science center headquartered in Galveston, Texas. Established in 1891, it stands as the state's first academic health center, encompassing five schools: Medicine, Nursing, Health Professions, Public and Population Health, and Graduate Biomedical Sciences.

Additionally, UTMB Health operates three institutes for advanced study and numerous research centers, including the Galveston National Laboratory.
