University of New Mexico Hospitals (UNMH) is the state's only academic health center, dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services across New Mexico. As the primary teaching hospital for the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, UNMH offers cutting-edge medical care, education, and research opportunities.
Comprehensive Healthcare Services
UNMH operates New Mexico's only Level I Trauma Center, ensuring immediate and advanced care for critical injuries. The hospital also houses the state's only dedicated children's hospital, offering specialized pediatric care.

The hospital's facilities include the 684,000-square-foot Critical Care Tower, featuring an adult emergency department, 18 modern operating suites, 73 perioperative bays, and 96 new ICU beds.
