University of Cincinnati

The University of Cincinnati (UC) is a public research university located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1819, it has grown to become one of the largest universities in the state. It has an enrollment exceeding 53,000 students.

UC offers a comprehensive range of academic programs through its 14 constituent colleges. These include architecture, business, education, engineering, humanities, sciences, law, music, and medicine.

The university is renowned for its innovative cooperative education (co-op) program, pioneered by UC in 1906. This program integrates academic learning with practical work experience. Students alternate between classroom instruction and professional employment.
