University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is a comprehensive academic medical center located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Established in 1931, UMC has grown to become Nevada's most sophisticated hospital, offering a wide range of specialized healthcare services to the community.
As Nevada's only government-run hospital, UMC is owned and operated by the Clark County Commission. It serves as the state's only Level I Trauma Center, providing the highest level of care for critically injured patients.
Additionally, UMC is home to Nevada's only Verified Burn Care Center, offering specialized treatment for burn injuries of all sizes.
