Recent Initiatives

In April 2022, IMCOM collaborated with a construction firm to build 3D-printed barracks at Fort Bliss in West Texas. These barracks, each spanning over 5,700 square feet, are among the largest 3D-printed structures in the Western Hemisphere.

This initiative aims to demonstrate the efficiency of 3D printing in constructing energy-efficient, resilient buildings swiftly and cost-effectively compared to traditional methods.
