About Uchi Restaurants
Uchi Restaurants, founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole, is a renowned culinary establishment offering innovative Japanese cuisine. The name "Uchi," meaning "house" in Japanese, reflects the restaurant's commitment to creating a welcoming and intimate dining experience.
Since its inception in 2003 in Austin, Texas, Uchi has expanded its presence across the United States, introducing guests to a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes.
At the heart of Uchi's offerings is its signature omakase menu, a seasonal tasting experience that showcases the freshest ingredients and the culinary team's creativity. The menu features a variety of hot and cold dishes, including sushi, sashimi, makimono, yakimono, and tempura.
Vegetarian options are also available, ensuring a diverse selection for all guests.
