Hospital Campuses and Specialized Services

Tufts Medicine operates several hospital campuses, each offering a unique set of services.

• Lowell General Hospital: Serving the Greater Lowell community for over 125 years, this hospital provides a wide array of services, including advanced surgical procedures, maternity care, and emergency services.
• MelroseWakefield Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford: These two campuses focus on community-based care, offering specialties such as orthopedics, gynecology, and urology. They also serve as a Level III Trauma Center, ensuring comprehensive emergency care.
• Tufts Medical Center: Located in Boston, this academic medical center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. It offers over 100 specialties, including a top-ranked heart transplant center and a Level 1 trauma center.

The Care at Home program provides medical and support services for individuals healing at home as well as palliative services for life-limiting illnesses.
