Tucson Roadrunners

The Tucson Roadrunners are a professional ice hockey team based in Tucson, Arizona. They compete in the American Hockey League (AHL) and were established in 2016. The Roadrunners serve as the AHL affiliate of the Utah Mammoth, a National Hockey League (NHL) team.

The team plays home games at the Tucson Convention Center Arena, a central venue for community engagement and fan base development.

The team's roster has included notable talent. In the 2022–23 season, forward Michael Carcone led the AHL in total scoring with:

He earned the John B. Sollenberger Trophy that season.

In the 2023–24 season, rookie Josh Doan and goalie Matthew Villalta represented the Roadrunners at the AHL All-Star Game.

Doan finished the regular season with 26 goals and 20 assists for a total of 46 points in 62 games. Villalta led the AHL with 31 wins.

Upcoming Schedule

The Roadrunners are set to open their 2025–26 home schedule on Saturday, October 18. They will face the Calgary Wranglers.
