About Town & Country Markets, Inc.
Town & Country Markets, Inc. is a family-owned grocery chain based in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. Established in 1957 by brothers John and Mo Nakata and their friend Ed Loverich, the company has grown to operate six markets under the Town & Country and Central Market banners.
The company's mission is to nourish the quality of life for its customers, vendor partners, and team members. This commitment is reflected in their core values, which include being of service to all people, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting teamwork, focusing on customer satisfaction, and practicing environmental, social, and fiscal stewardship.
In addition to their grocery stores, Town & Country Markets has expanded into the restaurant industry with the launch of Field House, a market-to-table restaurant located inside their Mill Creek store. The restaurant offers a menu crafted by chef Ethan Stowell, featuring seasonal dishes made from fresh, local ingredients.
