Three Square

Three Square Food Bank, established in 2007, is Southern Nevada's only food bank and the region's largest hunger-relief organization. It serves Clark, Lincoln, Nye, and Esmeralda counties. The mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community.

Since inception, Three Square has distributed over 644 million pounds of food, equating to more than 53 million meals, through a network of community partners, including nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools, and after-school programs.

In 2019 alone, the organization provided over 41 million meals, equivalent to more than 50 million pounds of food and grocery products.

Programs

• Senior Hunger Programs: Initiatives like Golden Groceries supply healthy supplemental groceries to individuals aged 60 and above who are food insecure, serving over 10,000 seniors monthly.
• Childhood Nutrition Programs: Nearly 70% of students in Clark County School District rely on free or reduced-price meals. Three Square ensures these children have access to healthy meals at their libraries.
• Las Vegas Restaurant Week: An annual 12-day event where local restaurants offer special three-course prix fixe menus and donate part of proceeds to Three Square. Since 2007, this initiative has provided over 10 million meals to families and individuals.

Facilities and Expansion

In 2024, Three Square expanded with a new 31,087-square-foot East Campus, including a 14,000-square-foot warehouse, freezer and cooler units, a 3,000-square-foot volunteer room, and 7,200 square feet of office space.

This expansion nearly doubles the capacity of its call line, connecting with Southern Nevada’s hard-to-reach food-insecure populations such as homebound seniors, people with disabilities, working families seeking services, and non-English speaking households.
