The Oakville Grill & Cellar

The Oakville Grill & Cellar is a Napa Valley-inspired restaurant located in Chicago's vibrant Fulton Market District. Established on April 25, 2023, this establishment brings the relaxed ambiance of Northern California to the heart of the city. It offers a unique dining experience that combines fresh ingredients, warm hospitality, and an extensive selection of California wines.

Culinary Offerings

The restaurant's menu is a celebration of California's culinary heritage. It features dishes crafted with locally sourced, seasonal produce and responsibly sourced meats.

Starters include the Yellowfin Tuna Tostada with salsa macha, crispy carrot, and avocado, and the wood and charcoal roasted Heirloom Artichoke with California olive oil and pepperoncini aioli.

Entrees range from the light and crispy Fried Chicken served with potato salad made with pepperoncini and grain mustard to the Coal Roasted Faroe Island Salmon glazed with sweet and smoky BBQ sauce and accompanied by stone-ground grits made with 26-month-aged Gouda.

The menu also features a selection of Oak Wood Grilled items, such as So-Cal Steak Frites, Center-Cut Creekstone Filet, and Grilled Chicken Paillard.

The Cellar Door

An intimate six-seat tasting room known as The Cellar Door offers guests a unique wine-tasting experience.

Each month, The Cellar Door partners with a different California vineyard to emulate its current tasting menu, providing a genuine wine country experience in Chicago.

Reservations are required, and the experience includes select pours from the featured vineyard's current selection, with an option to add a chef-curated cheese and salumi pairing.

Private Events

The Oakville Grill & Cellar offers private event spaces for various occasions, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, social celebrations, and corporate meetings.

The Estate Room, located on the second floor, provides direct access to a full-service indoor/outdoor bar, a private entrance to a covered open-air terrace, and a backdrop of one of the restaurant's wine cellars.

The adjoining Four Seasons Estate Terrace offers versatile space with surrounding views of the Fulton Market District, collapsible walls, and a levered roof, making it suitable for events year-round.
