Expansion and Locations

The Kitchen Restaurant Group has grown beyond Boulder, Colorado. In November 2024, Kimbal Musk opened a new location in downtown Austin, Texas.

The two-story restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Sixth and Guadalupe skyscraper and offers shared plates inspired by Peruvian, Moroccan, and Japanese cuisines, crafted with Texas ingredients. Features include a wine room, a private dining room for 12 guests, and plans for an upper-level private event space opening in the fall.

Awards and Recognition

The group has earned multiple accolades, including its first Michelin star in 2019. This made it the first Michelin-starred restaurant in Sacramento, California.

It has also consistently held the AAA Five Diamond Award since 2011, showcasing its dedication to dining excellence.
