The Italiano

The Italiano is a premier Italian restaurant located at 9301 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Established by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team, it stands as the sixth dining concept introduced by The Maggiore Group in the Phoenix area.

The restaurant's design exudes casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication. Guests are welcomed by a charming entry adorned with limestone and olive trees, setting the tone for an authentic Italian dining experience.

The interior features traditional seating arrangements and an indoor patio, creating an al fresco ambiance that transports diners to the heart of Italy. An immersive art installation in the private dining room pays homage to Chef Joey's late father's iconic restaurant, Tomaso's, adding a personal touch to the establishment.

The menu at The Italiano showcases classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. Signature offerings include handmade pastas, slow-cooked sauces, and interactive tableside experiences.

Guests can curate their own antipasto plates from a cart featuring over 30 different items, enjoy Limoncello cocktails served directly to their table, and indulge in desserts like Zabaione presented tableside.

Bar and Lounge Offerings

The bar and lounge area offers a selection of craft cocktails, including espresso martinis, Aperol spritz, bellinis, Old Fashioned, and Negronis. Dessert cocktails are also available, served neat or chilled with a slice of orange.

The lounge features happy hour Monday to Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m., offering $8 premium well and $2 off all cocktails, glasses of wine, and beer. Additionally, a Palla & Bottle deal is available from Monday to Friday, from 4 to 6 p.m., which includes a select bottle of wine and a pizza for $20.

Hours of Operation

• Lunch: Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Dinner: Sunday to Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Lounge: opens daily at 3 p.m., with happy hour offerings in designated areas.
