The Hospitality Hub of Memphis is a dedicated organization committed to ending homelessness in Memphis, Tennessee. It connects individuals with the resources they need to achieve stable housing and better health outcomes.
Founded in 2007 by the Downtown Churches Association, the Hub serves as a centralized point of entry into the Continuum of Care for individuals experiencing homelessness. Over the years, it has expanded its services and facilities to better meet community needs.
Facilities and Campus
In 2022, the Hub opened a new campus at 590 Washington Avenue. This campus includes a 6,000-square-foot central intake facility, a barrier-free emergency shelter for women and children, and a Day Plaza designed as a respite from the street.
In addition to its main campus, the Hub operates Hub North, a satellite facility in the Manassas neighborhood of north Memphis. Hub North offers trauma-informed temporary emergency shelter for families.
Hub North comprises 60 independent dwelling units called Hub Cottages. Each cottage is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom, and separate space for a caregiver.

One innovative program, Work Local, focuses on providing a safer way to earn money than panhandling. It connects people who panhandle with services and resources to move toward better futures.
