The Arcadia Family of Companies

The Arcadia Family of Companies is a non-profit organization based in Honolulu, Hawaii, dedicated to providing comprehensive senior living services that cater to the spiritual, physical, and social needs of older adults.

Established in 1967 by Central Union Church, Arcadia has grown to become a leading provider of senior care in the region. It offers a continuum of care including independent and assisted living, home health services, and adult day care.

Facilities and Services

The organization operates several facilities and services designed to meet various senior living needs:

• Arcadia Retirement Residence: A 13-story tower with 250 independent living apartments, assisted living, and a 91-bed licensed nursing facility. Amenities include healthcare, dining, housekeeping, a solarium, library, clinic, wellness/fitness center, crafts, and a chapel.
• 15 Craigside Retirement Residence: Another 13-story tower offering 170 independent living units, consisting of 140 one-bedroom apartments and 30 studios, with a 41-bed licensed nursing facility. Facilities feature a spacious lobby, kitchen and dining area, library, clinic, indoor pool, and community meeting space.
• Arcadia Adult Day Care & Day Health Center at Central Union Church: Located in downtown Honolulu, this center provides day care and day health services in a compassionate environment.
• Arcadia Home Health Services: Assists older adults to maintain independence at home by providing personal care, housekeeping, and meal delivery services without requiring a contract.
• Arcadia At Home: A membership program enabling seniors to live independently while accessing all amenities offered by Arcadia and 15 Craigside with guaranteed lifetime care.

In November 2022, Arcadia expanded its services by acquiring Hale Ola Kino, a 32-bed skilled nursing facility located on the second floor of One Kalakaua Senior Living. This acquisition enhances their capacity to serve Hawaii’s seniors through an expanded network of care.
