Tennessee State Veterans' Homes

Tennessee State Veterans' Homes (TSVH) is a dedicated organization committed to providing exceptional care and support to Tennessee's veterans and their families. Established in 1988, TSVH operates multiple facilities across the state, offering a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of veterans.

Comprehensive Care Services

TSVH offers a spectrum of care options, including long-term care, skilled nursing care, and rehabilitative services. Each facility is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals trained to deliver physical, emotional, and mental support to veterans.

The homes are designed to foster a community environment, encouraging camaraderie among residents while providing a comfortable and dignified living space.

Modern Amenities and Individualized Care

The facilities are equipped with modern amenities to ensure residents' comfort and well-being. Accommodations include private and semi-private rooms, spacious lounges, and outdoor patio areas.

Residents have access to a variety of services, such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, dental and podiatry care, and on-site barber and beautician services. A full calendar of daily activities promotes socialization and engagement, enhancing residents' quality of life.

TSVH operates several homes across Tennessee, each offering specialized care tailored to veterans' needs. Locations include:

• Murfreesboro Veterans Home: 345 Compton Road, Murfreesboro, TN, with 140 beds and comprehensive care services.
• Humboldt Veterans Home: 2865 E. Main Street, Humboldt, TN, a 140-bed facility offering a range of services.
• Knoxville Veterans Home: 1 Veterans Way, Knoxville, TN, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care with 140 beds.
• Clarksville Veterans Home: 250 Arrowood Drive, Clarksville, TN, with 108 beds and comprehensive care services.
• Cleveland Veterans Home: 1940 Westland Drive SW, Cleveland, TN, a 108-bed facility offering diverse services.
• Arlington Veterans Home: Currently under construction in Arlington, TN; projected to open in 2025 with 126 beds and modern amenities.

Eligibility and Admissions

To be eligible for admission to a TSVH, veterans must have received an honorable discharge from active service and require skilled nursing care. Additional criteria include residency in Tennessee at admission, birth in Tennessee, or entry into the U.S. Armed Forces from Tennessee.

Spouses and Gold Star parents of eligible veterans may also be considered for admission on a space-available basis.
