Tatte Bakery & Café is a renowned American-Mediterranean bakery and café chain that has been delighting customers with its artisanal baked goods and café fare since 2007. Founded by Israeli-born Tzurit Or, the establishment began as a home-based operation. Tzurit baked 20 hours a day to meet demand at Boston's Copley Square Farmers' Market.

Her dedication and passion led to the opening of the first brick-and-mortar location in Brookline, Massachusetts, in 2008.

The name "Tatte" nods to Tzurit's heritage; in Yiddish, "tatte" means "daddy," but young Hebrew speakers often use it to refer to their grandmother, "savta."
