SwimKids is a locally owned and operated swimming instruction company based in Utah. It is dedicated to teaching children essential water safety skills and swimming techniques. Since 1984, SwimKids has taught over 80,000 swimmers, becoming a trusted provider of swimming education in the region.

The company offers a comprehensive range of programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels. This ensures every child receives instruction suited to their needs. Their primary offerings include:

• Parent-Tot Classes (4–28 months): Designed to introduce infants and toddlers to the water, focusing on building comfort and confidence in the aquatic environment.
• Private Lessons (Ages 2+): One-on-one sessions that provide personalized instruction, allowing children to progress at their own pace. These lessons emphasize water safety and survival skills, equipping children with the ability to respond effectively in water emergencies.
• Group Classes (Ages 4+): Structured to enhance stroke efficiency and endurance, fostering a fun and sociable environment that encourages lifelong exercise habits. Ideal for those improving swimming techniques and preparing for competitive swimming.

The curriculum is divided into two main focus areas:

• Safety Skills: Teaching essential survival swimming abilities such as floating, breath control, and self-rescue techniques.
• Stroke Development: Introducing and refining competitive swimming strokes including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly to enhance proficiency and endurance.

To accommodate diverse schedules, SwimKids offers flexible lesson plans including Fast Track programs with multiple lessons per week for accelerated learning. They also provide recurring weekly lessons and punch pass options for drop-in sessions.
