Starr Hill Brewery, established in 1999 in Charlottesville, Virginia, has grown to become one of the state's most renowned craft breweries. The brewery's name pays homage to the local neighborhood where it was originally located.

In 2005, Starr Hill expanded its operations by relocating to Crozet, Virginia, to accommodate its growing production needs.
