Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is an award-winning 18-hole championship golf course offering a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Designed by internationally renowned architect Cal Olson and opened in 2000, the course features rolling fairways, multiple bunkers, and undulating bent grass greens.

Course Features

The course is set amidst the gentle foothills of the Organ Mountains, offering picturesque views and a relaxing atmosphere.

Its design includes strategically placed water hazards and sand traps, testing players' accuracy and shot-making skills.

The notable holes include the 9th, a 456-yard par 4 often playing into the wind around a large lake, requiring two well-executed shots to reach the green, and the 18th, a 583-yard par 5 demanding three shots for most players to reach the green, with a pond fronting the oblong green adding to the challenge.

Practice Facilities

Sonoma Ranch Golf Course offers excellent practice facilities such as a large grass driving range, practice bunkers, a short-game area, and practice putting greens.

Golf lessons are available from the professional staff, catering to both beginners and experienced golfers.

Clubhouse and Dining

The clubhouse features the Sunset Grill, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting every morning at 8:00 a.m.

The menu includes a full bar, 16 draft beers on tap, and a well-rounded wine list.

Executive Chef Pat Wilson and his team focus on fresh, creative specials with a southwestern flair.

The Sunset Grill can accommodate parties of up to 300 people, offering both indoor and outdoor options for events.
