About Sedano's
Sedano's Supermarkets is the largest Hispanic-owned supermarket chain in the United States, headquartered in Miami, Florida. Established in 1961 by René Sedano, the first store was a 4,000-square-foot bodega in Hialeah, Florida. In 1962, Armando Guerra Sr., a fellow Cuban exile, acquired the store and retained the Sedano's name.
The company has expanded to over 35 locations across Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, Orange, and Osceola counties. It specializes in products and services tailored to the Hispanic community.
