The journey began in 1975 when Scott Schmidt, born into a working-class family in Southern Ohio, joined Wendy's as an assistant manager.

His dedication and passion led him to acquire two Wendy's franchises in Portsmouth, Ohio, in 1988. Over the years, the group expanded its portfolio to include Buffalo Wild Wings, with the first location opening in Portsmouth in 2004.

Expansion and Locations

In 2015, the company significantly expanded its presence by acquiring 25 additional Wendy's restaurants in the Charleston/Huntington, West Virginia market.

This acquisition brought the total number of Wendy's locations to 22 in West Virginia, 13 in Ohio (including Proctorville and South Point), and four in Kentucky.
