Rock N Roll Sushi is a dynamic restaurant chain that seamlessly blends the art of sushi with the energy of rock 'n' roll culture. Founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife duo Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark in Mobile, Alabama, the brand has rapidly expanded.

It now boasts over 60 locations across the Southeastern United States. The concept was born out of a desire to make sushi accessible and enjoyable for a broader audience. By infusing a rock 'n' roll ambiance into the dining experience, Rock N Roll Sushi has created an environment where patrons can savor traditional sushi rolls, baked and fried variations, hibachi dishes, and other Japanese-inspired offerings.

All of this is served alongside classic rock music and memorabilia. In 2014, the brand began franchising, leading to its rapid growth. By 2022, Rock N Roll Sushi had expanded to 61 units, with plans to reach 75 locations by the end of that year.

The brand's success is attributed to its ability to make sushi approachable to a wide demographic, including those who might not have considered trying it before. In 2022, Rock N Roll Sushi signed a 25-unit deal in Colorado and additional agreements in Las Vegas and Phoenix, marking its expansion into Western markets.

This growth strategy focuses on multi-unit franchisees in larger markets, with plans to reach as many as 250 units in the coming years. The brand's menu features a variety of sushi rolls, hibachi dishes, and other Japanese-inspired offerings, all served in a lively, music-filled environment.
