About Provo City Corporation
Provo City Corporation is the municipal government entity responsible for overseeing and managing the city of Provo, Utah. As the county seat of Utah County, Provo is the fourth-largest city in the state with a population of approximately 115,162 as of the 2020 census.
The city operates under a mayor-council form of government. The mayor serves as the chief executive officer, while the city council acts as the legislative body. The current mayor, Michelle Kaufusi, has been in office since December 5, 2017.
