Philmore Creamery is a family-owned gelato shop located in San Francisco's Fillmore district. It is renowned for its authentic, small-batch Italian-style gelato and sorbetto. The creamery was established by Phil and Mona Malik, along with their son Jordan.

The inspiration for the creamery came from a visit to Rimini, Italy, where the family attended the world's largest annual gelato expo, Sigep. This experience ignited their passion to bring exceptional gelato to San Francisco.

Quality Ingredients

The creamery emphasizes quality and authenticity through its ingredients. It uses fresh, organic dairy sourced from Double 8 Dairy, a small-batch producer in Petaluma, California.

All nut pastes, including Bronte pistachio from Sicily, hazelnut, and walnut, are imported directly from Italy. The sorbetto is made only with regional and natural fruits, avoiding chemical flavorings, colorings, additives, or taste enhancers.

This dedication to purity results in creamy sorbetto that often leads customers to believe dairy has been added.
