Architecture and Key Features
The museum's architecture is a testament to innovation, comprising four interconnected buildings: the Frost Planetarium, the Gulf Stream Aquarium, and the North and West Wings.
Designed by Grimshaw Architects, the complex features:
- a 250-seat planetarium with a 67-foot wide dome offering immersive 8K visual experiences
- a three-story, cone-shaped Gulf Stream Aquarium housing a 500,000-gallon tank showcasing South Florida’s aquatic ecosystems
- a 31-foot-wide oculus lens at the bottom of the aquarium, providing a unique marine life perspective

Within the North and West Wings, visitors can explore various permanent and rotating exhibits such as:
- The "Power of Science" exhibit, which highlights scientific achievements and the future of science with interactive displays
