Officina is an Italian-inspired culinary collective located at The Wharf in Washington, D.C. Founded by Michelin-starred Chef Nicholas Stefanelli, Officina offers a multifaceted dining experience that captures the essence of Italy through its diverse venues.

The establishment spans three levels, each providing a unique ambiance and selection of Italian cuisine:

Venues and Dining Experience

• Mercato (First Floor): An artisanal market featuring a curated selection of imported specialty products, including olives, prosciutto, and other Italian delicacies.
• Café & Bar (First Floor): A lively space serving house-made pastries, freshly baked breads, and a traditional Italian espresso bar. Afternoons and evenings transform it into a trattoria offering Roman-style pizzas, Italian street food favorites, and classic cocktails.
• Trattoria (Second Floor): A full-scale restaurant focused on the bold flavors of southern Italy, offering contemporary and traditional Italian fare made with the freshest seasonal ingredients.
• Terrazza (Third Floor): A rooftop bar and private dining space inspired by the terraces of Rome, providing breathtaking views of the Potomac River. The menu features seasonal cocktails, an expansive champagne list, and small Italian bites.

Officina also boasts an extensive amaro library with over 100 selections, including rare and vintage bottles, providing a unique experience for enthusiasts.

The venue is located at 1120 Maine Avenue SW, Washington, D.C., 20024. Outdoor seating is available on the first floor and second-floor balcony, weather permitting.

Reservations and Events
