Founded by Milt Odom in 1934, the company began as Odom & Company, an independent broker selling various goods such as bourbon, liquor, coffee, tea, spices, meats, candy, and other dry products. In 1937, it acquired the Coca-Cola franchise rights for one dollar, marking a key milestone.
Odom later expanded its product line to include beer, wine, spirits, and a diverse selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Today, the company distributes products from over 500 domestic and foreign suppliers, including prestigious brands.
