Oak Park and River Forest High School

Oak Park and River Forest High School (OPRF) is a public four-year high school located in Oak Park, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Established in 1871, the school has a rich history and has been serving the community for over a century.

The current school building, opened in 1907, continues to provide a conducive environment for student learning and development.

Academic Divisions

OPRF offers a comprehensive academic program with approximately 250 courses designed to meet various student needs. These include graduation requirements, exploration of individual interests, performance opportunities, academic support, and college credit.

Summer School Program

OPRF offers a Summer School program providing courses that allow students to earn credits, explore new subjects, or receive academic support during the summer months.

The 2025 Summer School session is scheduled from June 9th to July 17th, with classes held Monday through Thursday.
