North East Medical Services

North East Medical Services (NEMS) is a non-profit community health center dedicated to providing affordable, comprehensive, compassionate, and quality healthcare services to the San Francisco Bay Area. Established in 1968, NEMS has grown to become one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in the United States. It focuses on medically underserved populations, particularly within the Asian community.

Operating 23 clinics and service delivery sites across three counties—San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara—NEMS offers a wide range of medical services. These include primary care, pediatrics, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, dentistry, optometry, ophthalmology, cardiology, and radiology.

Additionally, NEMS provides ancillary services such as acupuncture, behavioral health, chiropractic care, podiatry, nutrition, pharmacy, laboratory, and social services. This ensures comprehensive care for its patients.
