About Montgomery County Public Schools
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is the largest public school district in Maryland, serving approximately 160,554 students across 210 schools. The district encompasses a diverse student body, with 32.8% Hispanic, 25.8% White, 21.8% Black, 14.3% Asian, and 5.0% identifying as two or more races.
MCPS offers a comprehensive educational experience from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, including special education and alternative programs. Academic Programs
