Montgomery County Juvenile Court

The Montgomery County Juvenile Court (MCJC), located at 380 West Second Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422, is a division of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. It holds jurisdiction over individuals under the age of 18 residing within Montgomery County.

• Nicholas Residential Treatment Center (NRTC): A highly structured, staff-secure residential facility operated by MCJC, offering intensive treatment programs for youth with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Probation Services: Delivers effective, quality probation supervision and services to youth, emphasizing accountability, rehabilitation, and community safety.
• Education: MCJC operates a non-graded, non-public school district chartered by the Ohio Department of Education, providing educational services tailored to the needs of adjudicated youth.
