Miru at the St. Regis

Miru, which translates to "view" in Japanese, is a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant located on the 11th floor of The St. Regis Chicago. It offers panoramic vistas of Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, and the Chicago River.

The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with weekend brunch and afternoon tea services available.

Culinary Team

The culinary team at Miru is led by Chef/Partner Hisanobu Osaka, known for his work at Morimoto and Daniel, and Executive Chef Helmy Saadon, formerly of Mila and Zuma.

The menu features a variety of shareable dishes, including warm and cold selections like Hamachi & Ponzu with white ponzu and lemon, and Spicy Bluefin Tuna Crispy Rice.

Signature offerings include:

• Crispy Whole Snapper with herb salad and ginger miso
• Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Zabuton with shishito peppers and Miru steak sauce
• Sushi bar specialties such as Triple Tuna Chutoro and Deluxe California rolls

For breakfast, guests can enjoy continental dishes alongside traditional Japanese options like The Tokyo Breakfast, featuring grilled umami King salmon, dashi tamago, rice, and miso soup.

Lunch offerings include the Tokyo Lunch, allowing guests to choose a protein accompanied by miso soup, rice, and Japanese pickles.

Beverage Program

Miru's beverage program includes an extensive selection of Japanese whiskies, including rare finds like Hibiki 40.

Signature cocktails include the Miru Highball, combining Toki Japanese Whiskey, Junmai Sake, Sancho Pepper Falernum, Bermutto, and lime, and the Plum Lucky, a whisky sour with stewed fruit undertones.

Design and Spaces

Designed by the Rockwell Group, Miru's interior features a warm, neutral palette with richly textured materials and pops of color.

The space includes two riverfront terraces and a 12-seat Fantastico Arni marble sushi bar.

Private and semi-private event spaces are available for groups ranging from 10 to 300 guests.
