MINTY Z LLC

Minty Z LLC is a plant-based Asian fusion restaurant specializing in vegan dim sum and other Asian-inspired dishes. Founded by Chef Alex Falco and his wife, Huimin Zhu (also known as Minty), the restaurant opened its first location in Coconut Grove, Miami, in December 2020.

The menu at Minty Z features a variety of vegan dim sum options, including bao buns, wontons, shumai, avocado spring rolls, and "beef" gyoza. Additionally, there are small starter plates like sesame seitan wings, rice or tofu bowls, and veggie-focused dishes such as spicy cauliflower kimchi and barbecue Chinese eggplant.

Desserts include bao beignets, matcha crème brûlée, chocolate ganache dumplings, and a sesame bubble sundae, offering a creative and indulgent plant-based selection.

Expansion and Locations

In June 2023, Minty Z expanded by opening a second location in Midtown Miami at 3451 Northeast First Avenue. This new location features an indoor/outdoor seating capacity of 50 and serves lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The original Coconut Grove location was at 3206 Grand Avenue, Miami, Florida 33133, but it was scheduled to close permanently on September 1, 2024.
