MetroHealth Medical Center, established in 1837, is a comprehensive public health care system based in Cleveland, Ohio. As Cuyahoga County's primary safety-net hospital, it is dedicated to delivering equitable health care through service, teaching, discovery, and teamwork.
The system comprises four hospitals, including the Main Campus Medical Center, Cleveland Heights Medical Center, Old Brooklyn Medical Center, and Parma Medical Center. Additionally, it operates more than 20 health centers and 40 additional sites across the region.
Hospitals and Facilities
The Main Campus Medical Center serves as the flagship facility. It houses a Level I Adult Trauma and Burn Center, a Level II Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center, and a 24/7 Emergency Department.
Services offered include trauma, emergency and critical care, women's and children's services, high-risk obstetrical care, neonatal intensive care, and a variety of medical and surgical specialties.
Cleveland Heights Medical Center provides comprehensive adult and pediatric services with a 24-hour Emergency Department and a broad range of specialties in a convenient location.
Old Brooklyn Medical Center focuses on inpatient rehabilitation services, outpatient medical specialties, senior health services, and more, conveniently located near major highways.
Parma Medical Center delivers a 24/7 Emergency Department, primary care, specialty, and surgical care for residents of southern Cuyahoga County.
