Meow Wolf

Meow Wolf is an American arts and entertainment company renowned for its large-scale, interactive, and immersive art installations. Founded in 2008 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, by a collective of artists, the company has expanded its unique brand of experiential art across multiple U.S. locations.

The company's inaugural exhibition, the House of Eternal Return, opened in 2016 in Santa Fe. This 20,000-square-foot facility blends a traditional art museum with a concert venue. It offers visitors a nonlinear storytelling experience through interconnected rooms and hidden passages.

In 2021, Meow Wolf expanded to Las Vegas with Omega Mart, a 52,000-square-foot immersive art installation within AREA15, an experiential entertainment district. Omega Mart features a reimagined grocery store stocked with satirical, surreal products and leads visitors through portals into otherworldly realms, challenging perceptions of consumerism and reality.

The company further broadened its reach with Convergence Station in Denver, Colorado, which opened in September 2021. This 90,000-square-foot exhibition contains over 70 unique installations, rooms, and portals, telling a cathartic tale of converged worlds.

In July 2023, Meow Wolf introduced The Real Unreal in Grapevine, Texas, within the Grapevine Mills Mall. This exhibition explores the transformative power of creative energy, inviting visitors into a mesmerizing, interactive artscape that unfolds within a seemingly ordinary house.

The company's fifth permanent exhibition, Radio Tave, opened on October 31, 2024, in Houston's Fifth Ward. This immersive experience transports visitors into an interdimensional radio station, featuring artistically designed portals by over 100 artists, including more than 50 from Texas.

Looking ahead, Meow Wolf has announced plans for its sixth permanent exhibition in Los Angeles, California, set to open in 2026. This exhibition is expected to be filled with cinematic grandeur, mysterious Easter eggs, and novel connections to the Meow Wolf universe across other U.S. cities.
