Meal Delivery Services

Meals on Wheels People delivers over 28,000 nutritious meals each week to individuals aged 60 and older residing in Multnomah and Washington counties in Oregon, and Clark County in Washington.

These meals are prepared by a team of professionals and volunteers, ensuring that seniors receive balanced and healthy food options. The delivery service operates Monday through Thursday, with meals brought directly to the homes of recipients.

Each meal costs over $10 to prepare and deliver. While contributions are encouraged, no senior is denied service due to an inability to pay.

Dining Centers

In addition to home delivery, Meals on Wheels People operates numerous dining centers throughout the service area. These centers offer older adults the opportunity to enjoy fresh, healthy lunches in a social setting from Monday through Thursday.

The Diner

To further support the senior community, Meals on Wheels People opened The Diner in Vancouver, Washington.

This restaurant is open to the public daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors aged 60 and older enrolled in the Meals on Wheels People program can order from a special pay-as-you-can-afford senior menu.

The Diner provides additional dining options for seniors and serves as a revenue stream to support the organization's mission.

Volunteer Engagement
