The Maize school district is noted for being progressive and innovative, while at the same time providing a personal, caring atmosphere. Education is individualized to help every child find success. Maize Schools is a largely suburban school district located seven miles northwest of Wichita, KS. Our enrollment is over 7,500 students. We have two high schools (9-12), one alternative high school, two middle schools (7-8), two intermediate schools (5-6), five elementary schools and an early childhood learning center. We also provide Special Education services for the Maize and Renwick school districts including the Hope Learning Center in Mt. Hope, Kansas. We enjoy a high level of parent and patron support, both in finance and in personal commitment with high levels of volunteerism and public spirit.
