Acquisition by Dave & Buster's

In June 2022, Main Event Entertainment was acquired by Dave & Buster's, a leading competitor in the family entertainment industry.

This acquisition allows Main Event to operate as a family entertainment brand and a separately owned unit of the more adult-oriented Dave & Buster's chain.
