Liberty Science Center (LSC) is a dynamic, interactive science museum and learning center located in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey. Established in 1993, LSC has grown into New Jersey's largest cultural institution and the most visited science center in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area.
The center attracts over 750,000 visitors annually, spanning 300,000 square feet with a diverse array of exhibits and programs designed to inspire and educate visitors of all ages.
Exhibits and Attractions
One of the most notable features of LSC is the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the largest in the Western Hemisphere, offering immersive astronomical experiences.

- "Skyscraper! Achievement and Impact" – exploring the engineering marvels of tall buildings
- "Grossology" – a hands-on exhibit delving into the human body's functions

LSC is committed to STEM education through various initiatives, including the operation of the Liberty Science Center High School. This public magnet STEM academy provides programs in Earth, Life, and Space sciences to students in grades 9-12.
The high school is part of the broader SciTech Scity project, a 30-acre innovation campus aimed at fostering scientific and technological advancements.
